Boasting an enviable location, Northcott is set in the heart of our 400 acre estate and overlooking the truly stunning North Cornwall coastline. The Farmhouse is probably one of Cornwall's finest large self-catering farmhouses, sleeping 11,12,13,14,15,16 or 17.

You will find this Georgian period farmhouse wonderfully secluded with both rural and coastal views, you can take a leisurely stroll through our green meadows which leads you to the fabulous Northcott Mouth beach, superbly deserted in the winter or you can swim, surf or just laze on the beach in the summer months.

From Northcott beach you can walk the Atlantic heritage coast along to Sandymouth, or if you are feeling extremely energetic – to Duckpool, or in the the other directly walk to the local town of Bude with its 2 blue-flag beaches.

The farmhouse retains bags of individual character and boasts 9 bedrooms!

Here you will love our large and well equipped kitchen with its original flagstone slate flooring which has been shaped over time, and its double oven Aga, ideal for putting together the 4 course meal you’ll be enjoying around the large dining table.

We’ve recently installed a wood burning stove which quickly warms the dining room which adjoins the kitchen.

We’ve put together three lounges, the smallest being in the Anex, particularly beneficial for families, above which is a double bedroom, with original wooden beams. One Lounge has stripped floorboards and overlooks the garden, large TV with DVD/VCR, the second is carpeted has a large TV and French Patio doors leading onto the patio/Barbeque area from which you have the stunning view down the valley and over the ocean (as seen in our gallery)

Also on the ground floor there are two single and one twin bedded rooms, with the bonus of a bathroom with over-bath showever and shower room/wc next door.

A popular feature is our heated cellar games room with pool table and table football, we house all the local brochures and guides here.

On the first floor the bedrooms are comfortable and uncluttered with five bedrooms; two family ensuite (sleep 3) one has a four poster, two further doubles ensuite (one with four-poster), one single bedroom and a bathroom with over-bath shower.

The large gardens have a childrens play area with swings and climbing frame, a sandpit and ample room for softball games, the usual garden activities.

The Farmhouse is proving very popular for large groups, celebrations, reunions, house parties and mature well behaved stag or hen parties. You can even take the option of catering on request.

We believe it is very important to equip our self catering accomodation to create a home from home experience, therefore, the house has 2 large TVs, DVD & Video Players, CD hi-fi system & portable CD player. The Kitchen is fully fitted and includes dishwasher, 2 electric cookers, traditional Aga, washing machine & tumble dryer.
