14th - 28th August 2010 - Stables

Excellent holiday cottage, clean, modern and perfect for us! The pool has been such a bonus in the very changeable weather we have had! Recommend using "shoreline" in Bude 01288 354039. We have dont Surfing, Canadian Canoes, Archery (Twice!) and Beach Ecology (extremely interesting!!) Also Efford Down Riding Stables were brilliant a gorgeous spot for a trek on the coast! Upper Tamar Lake our kids did sailing and loved it, we also enjoyed fishing there. The Bullers Arms good food, but do book! Best Food in Bude is at Scrummies, Lansdown Rd, amazing seafood, feshly caught by the owner! Best mussels and sea bass we have EVER tasted! Dont buy a wetsuit and or board, they are cheaply and easily hired at Crooklets Beach & Widemouth Bay (or from Kevin, £2 wetsuit hire, boards free) Do hire towels from Vicky, you will need them with that very warm pool!!!

Dear Kevin and Vicky,

Just wanted to say thank you for a really lovely holiday we had with you this easter.  We booked to stay in ‘stables’ cottage and felt so lucky as it was a last minute decision. The accommodation was great as were the facilities.  We have three children and it worked really well and felt very safe.  They would run of to play or say hi to the pigs and we managed to have some peace which we weren’t expecting! I was lucky enough to have a massage with the other Vicky and it was by far the best massage I have had.  I do massage myself and don’t always enjoy having one.  But with Vicky she obviously loves what she does and it really showed - so thank you Vicky I just wished we lived a lot nearer! We will definitely be seeing you all again Many thanks

17th - 24th April 2010- Wheelwright Period Cottage

Fantastic cottage, really comfortable, boys enjoyed garden for kicking football about, park and play equipment brilliant too.  Eden project - everything & more its cracked up to be - awesome.  Good idea to go in afternoon though as not too busy.  Fish & Chip van in the village on Friday night - magic! Also recommend Rosie who gives swimming lessons - our 7 year old made good progress.

A group of nine of us, four couples and one single stayed at the farmhouse for five days for my 30th Birthday celebrations.

None of us could fault the accommodation, the farm, the location, the facilities, and the owners. The house was very well presented, smartly decorated, well equipped and most importantly the beds were all very comfortable. On arrival, the house was very warm and inviting, and all the rooms were spotless. I have stayed in 5* hotels around the world and felt far less comfortable for far more money than we paid for the farmhouse, so Kevin and his family should be highly complimented on their standard of accommodation. All areas of the property were well equipped from the kitchen equipment to the lounge with Sky TV and DVD player.

The facilities were excellent and kept us amused for hours and there were certainly no bored times! There was ample parking for all our cars, and in terms of location, the farm is ideally situated directly over the road from a well stocked village shop and also a very warm and friendly pub.

When it came to leaving, we all wished we could stay on for longer, but we will just have to make a return visit to Court Farm! It's a hard life. Thanks for having us!"
