so much to do…
Parkrun organise free, weekly, 5km timed runs, locally in Cornwall and around the world. They are open to everyone, free and are safe and easy to take park in.
Taking place in pleasant Cornish surroundings, parkrun encourages people of every ability to take park, from those taking their first steps in running, to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience; They welcome you all.
It’s not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that’s for fun or as part of a training plan.
Taking part is easy – just register before your first ever parkrun. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there.
So whether you are a complete novice looking to get yourself started on your own “running journey” or a seasoned athlete wanting to use this as a part of your training schedule, you’re welcome to come along and join us.
There are 6 parkruns currently in Cornwall, located at Penrose National Trust Estate, Lanhydrock House, Tamar Lakes, Mount Edgcumbe, Trelissick, near Truro and NEW! Eden Project, St Austell.
